All Blacks

The legendary all blacks faced the mighty french team at westpac stadium last saturday. Many things exciting happened like a woman streaker was tackled in the second half by a guard and a couple of french supporters managed to sneak a rooster into the game and released it onto the feild in the second half. It cost the french supporters the last twenty minutes of the game. I found this funny and of course the all blacks won with the final score being 14-10. The weather was astonishing as it was raining basically throughout the whole game. The weather attacked many of the players in this game but the person most effected by the rain in my opinion was Stephen Donald the all blacks first five. This was a really good rugby game. Bye.

Saturday rugby

Yesturday my Kihikihi rugby team travelled up to hamilton for our rugby game against the 4th place hamilton old boys. Unfortunately we lost again because of the ref but we don’t mind. I’m not sure what the final score was but we lost by 9. Also that afternoon I had to go to ngaruawahia for the marist seniors game. They won. Once again I’m not sure what the final score was but they won by quite a lot. Bye.

II Rugby

Last tuesday the TA intermediate rugby teams travelled on a long bus ride up to Matamata for the inter intermediate rugby tournament. Our under 55kg team came first but unfortunately the overs came last. It was a fun and exciting day. It also gave me a new goal and that goal is to become more aware of what position I should play, practice and be ready for next years inter intermediate rugby tournament.

I’m back

I’m back from my wet and soggy yet fun adventure at the field days last friday. It was heaps of fun. I saw heaps of my mates there. Some of my cousins were also there. Me and them went around looking for free stuff. My uncle as in one of the competitions. He had to do a range of things like: pour a glass of beer using a digger, Paint the numbers 1,2 and4 using a digger and he also had to pick up a log and balance it on some cones without touching the over head wire above or the cones themselve. There was also people carving sculptures with chainsaws and tractor racing. It was fun. I can’t wait to go next year. Bye

Da Vinci Exhibition

Today I was suddenly reminded about the opening of the new da vinci exhibition in the waikato museum located in hamilton. One of the teachers at our school Mrs Germann got me and we went to the exhibition. There was lots of cool things to see and to do. We watched a small clip about Leonardo Da Vinci and then we explored the exhibition. My favourite contraption would have had to be the room of mirrors which would help Leonardo to draw all of the aspects of the human body. I also learnt that he would cut open a humans chest and draw the insides of them. This is a really exciting exhibition. I recomend everyone to go and see this. Bye.

Field days

This Friday is a teachers only day so I will be going to the 2009 field days this year. I am looking forward to this event because this is my first time and I am told that there is lots of amazing things to see. Back soon with more info. Bye

II rugby tournament

Next Tuesday I will be going to Matamata to play other teams in the Waikato inter intermediate rugby tournament. It will take place on tuesday. Our two teams will be leaving school at 8:00. If you can please come and support the TA rugby teams as we hope to win the championship once again. Thanks and Bye.

Kihikihi rugby

Last Saturday my Kihikihi rugby team finally got our new uniforms and that day we played the Hamilton Frankton 12th grade rugby team at our home feild in Kihikihi. We had a good 1st half but in the second half the new ref did’nt have a clue what he was doing. We ended up losing with the final score being 26-28 but I did’nt mind because I know that the real winners of that game were the kihikihi crew. Also later on that day my step dad had an away rugby game at Kihikihi as he and my uncle play for T.A Marist.  I’m not exactly sure what the final score was but Marist won. To finish off the day there was a party at the Kihikihi club rooms. We listened to some speeche’s, had a kai and came home. See ya.

Taniwha’s VS Chargers

Last monday my monday evening basketball team the T.A.I Taniwha’s faced the T.A.I Chargers and was beaten by a mile. The final score was 11-78. I was dissapointed at first but later I realised its a good thing because we finally have something to improve on. Bye.

Swine Flu

Recently the contagious un-clean swine flu has hit australia and the awesome warriors prop Steven Price has caught this disasterous desease. Also a techer and 6 kids are quarrantine in a building. I will be back with more info soon.
